Scholarship: $500

The ATD Baton Rouge chapter invites currently enrolled, degree-seeking students to apply for our annual scholarships. The ATD Baton Rouge Chapter offers one (1) scholarship for an undergraduate student. Scholarship funds are for college degree programs only and may be used for any education-related expenses such as books, tuition, fees, or some combination. Scholarship funds cannot be used for professional development seminars, conferences, or workshops.

Eligibility:

• Currently enrolled as a full-time, degree-seeking student at an accredited institution of higher learning
• Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher
• Completion of at least 48 credit hours toward the undergraduate degree
• Degree program is related to the training and development field (e.g. Human Resource Management, Human Resource Education, Workforce  Development, Training Development, Instructional Design, Leadership Development, Organizational Development, etc.)
•  Willing to serve as ATDBR student liaison and attend board meetings once per quarter.

Application Period: September 11^th 2023 – October 20^th 2023

Complete ATDBR Scholarship Application Form to include:

• Contact information
• Personal Statement (1000 words or less) that includes:  interest and/or experience in the HR/TD profession, career goals, what this scholarship opportunity means to you/how will it support your educational and career goals.
• Official college transcript
• Two letters of recommendation (one must be from a professor)

Applications must be completed online at ATDBR.org beginning on September 11^th 2023. Applications submissions will be submitted via Google Forms.

ATDBR scholarships are awarded without regard to race, sex, religion, age, national origin, sexual orientation, etc.  By submitting an application for the ATDBR Scholarship, you authorize that all information provided may be shared in with partners of ATDBR.  This data will be retained indefinitely.  You also grant ATBBR permission to use photographs, videos, sound recordings, separately or in combination of you.  Further, you relinquish and give ATDBR all rights, title, and interest you may have in the finished photographs, videos and/or sound recordings for the purpose of the promotion of ATDBR.
