September 2022 ATDBR Membership Meeting Topic: Building Psychological Safety at Work through Play
Date/Time: September 27, 2022 (11:30am - 1:00pm)
Location: Goodwood Library (Large Meeting Room)
Speaker: Presenting Virtually ** Virtual/Remote Participation also available as registration option**
Managers often associate "playing at work" with goofing off or wasting company time and money. But what if play was a crucial component to building a solid foundation for your team? What if it could help create a sense of belonging and psychological safety in the workplace and rekindle morale - especially surrounded by all the uncertainty?
In this workshop, we will explore how play is key to building camaraderie in this surreal new reality of work.
Jeff Harry combines positive psychology and play to heal workplaces, help teams build psychological safety, and assist individuals in addressing their biggest challenges through embracing a play-oriented approach to work. Jeff was selected by BambooHR &Engagedly as one of the Top 100 HR Influencers and has been featured in the NY Times, Mashable, Upworth, Shondaland, & Wired. Jeff has worked with Google, Microsoft, Southwest Airlines, Adobe, the NFL, Amazon, and Facebook, helping their staff to infuse more play into the day-to-day.
