Emotions are contagious: in this engaging session, we explore the impact our emotional states have on the people around us and how other emotions affect us. Whether in the workplace, classroom, or home, the energy we carry ripples outward, shaping the tone and culture of every environment we enter.

We'll take an honest look at the triggers that pull us into reactive patterns — those moments when we respond from emotion rather than intention. By identifying what sets us off, we begin to reclaim our power and shift from kneejerk reactions to thoughtful, purposeful responses.

Finally, you'll leave with practical tools to build your emotional agility muscle. The ability to navigate life's inevitable stressors with greater flexibility, self-awareness, and calm. Because when you regulate yourself, you don't just change your own experience, you change the room.

Learning Objectives:

    1. Recognize the contagious nature of emotions and understand how their emotional state directly influences the people and environments around them.

    2. Identify personal triggers and the sources of anxiety that lead to reactive rather than responsive behavior and develop strategies to minimize their impact.

    3. Apply practical emotional agility tools to reduce anxiety, increase self-regulation, and respond to challenges with greater intention and calm.

About our Speaker:

Jennifer Feduccia was raised in the heart of a family business where entrepreneurship, initiative, and a strong work ethic were instilled early. Family lore suggests she made her first sale at just three years old — an early indication of the drive and confidence that would shape her career.

She earned her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Millsaps College and later completed a master’s degree in human resources and leadership development at Louisiana State University. She is also an ICF-certified coach, grounding her work in globally recognized coaching standards and ethical practice.

For more than three decades, Jennifer has worked across multiple industries — most notably in healthcare — partnering with organizations to strengthen culture, elevate leadership capability, and create environments where people can perform at their best. She is passionate about helping individuals recognize their potential, embrace growth, and lead with intention and impact.
