Time to Shift our Focus: Learn to go from Employee Engagement to Employee Experience

Session Summary:

A Forbes article called 2018 The Year of Employee Experience. As we move into 2021 and companies are looking for more innovative ways to connect with their teams, employee experience will continue to be a thing of the future. Companies are going from end of the year engagement surveys to now integrating strategic methods for a holistic employee experience.

After completing this webinar, participants will gain the knowledge to:

  • Identify the difference between employee engagement and employee experience
  • Define employee experience and identify the process
  • Apply six methods to improve employee experience
  • Develop a plan to increase employee experience

LaKisha C. Brooks, M.Sc., M.Ed, CDP is the Chief Learning Officer at Brooks Enterprise and Consultants, columnist for DimEnsIons: The Bottom Line of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion for HR Exchange Network, the former President-Elect for the Greater Atlanta Chapter of ATD, serves as a Coaching and Mentoring Advisory Board Member for HR.com.

An internationally recognized leadership expert, LaKisha, has been featured on ABC, FOX, CW, and NBC affiliates across the country, as well as The Denver Post and The Miami Herald. She was also recognized by Atlanta Business Chronicle as a “Person on the Move.” LaKisha is also the 2018 Trainer Showdown winner for the ATD Central FL Chapter.

She has over 14 years of sales and management consulting experience and 20 years of public speaking experience. She has worked with companies and organizations such as Rheem Manufacturing, Flexport, CLO Magazine, Papa Johns, just to name a few. She has also traveled the country training global clients in the areas of leadership, management, diversity, and sales as a consultant for Krauthammer USA. LaKisha has also worked for the Adidas Group under the Reebok brand, managing the field retail training.

LaKisha is also a Certified Professional in DISC and Emotional Quotient and a trailblazer in organizational leadership and development authoring two books, Leadership’s Got Everything to Do with It: Women’s Guide to the Sustainable Leader and Organization and Learn, Lead and Leave a Legacy: Advancing Women to the Top!

 Cancellation Policy

As soon as you complete the registration process, you will be guaranteed a seat at this event.  The completed registration process initiates an invoice from your ATD Baton Rouge Chapter to you that may be paid online, by mail, or on the day of the event.

Event Cancellations received at least 48 hours prior to an event may be eligible to receive a full refund.  Cancellations will be accepted via e-mail and should be sent to the Treasurer at  treasurer@atdbatonrouge.org  All refund requests must made by the member or credit card holder.  Refunds will be credited back to the original method of payment within 30 days from the date the payment was received.  Requests for cancellations received after the stated deadline will not be eligible for a refund.

ATD Baton Rouge Chapter

Your ATD Baton Rouge Chapter may have to pay for your meal and other fees if you register and then cannot attend.  Please help us protect your chapter’s finances.  You can submit cancellations at least 48 hours before the event; otherwise, we will have to invoice you to cover these costs.  If that should happen, we will be happy to accept your registration for future events as soon as you have settled your outstanding balance.

What happens if I register and then cannot attend an event?

If you cancel at least 48 hours prior to the event, you will not be charged.  If you’ve already made payment, we will be happy to issue you a refund.  If you cannot cancel before 48 hours, please feel free to send someone else in your place.  Kindly send an email to treasurer@atdbatonrouge.orgso we can have materials prepared for that individual.  Our goal is to make sure that person feels as welcomed as possible.  :)
