From Order-Taker to Strategic Partner: How L&D Can Earn a Real Seat at the Table
Too often, Learning & Development (L&D) professionals are brought into conversations after key decisions have already been made. Despite delivering high-quality learning solutions, many struggle to articulate their value in ways that resonate with executive stakeholders. This session is designed to equip L&D leaders and practitioners with the strategic mindset, language, and advisory tools necessary to reposition themselves as internal consultants and trusted partners in business growth.
Participants will explore why traditional approaches to learning advocacy fall short, and what business leaders actually need to hear. Through the introduction of a tactical L&D Consultant Toolkit, attendees will gain practical frameworks for building business cases, influencing without authority, and navigating stakeholder relationships using internal consulting models.
